Oakfield - Robot Day

Great start to the new half-term at Oakfield Schools Federation (Gateshead) today delivering ‘Robotics’ workshops at Oakfield Infant and Junior schools. Yesterday I was working with Reception, Year 1 and Year 3 pupils and this was the first of three ‘Robot Days’ at Oakfield this half-term, where all pupils throughout the school will get the chance to take part in coding and computational thinking activities. Ended the day by delivering a ‘Purple Mash’ CPD session with staff, so as to ensure that they can get the most out of this fabulous resource from 2Simple for both delivering their Computing lessons, and across the wider curriculum.
