Animate 2 Educate Gold Star Winner - BETT 2025

THE ‘ANIMATE 2 EDUCATE GOLD STAR’ FOR BETT 2025 GOES TO . . . It might not be quite a BETT Award, but each year for the last decade I have given an ‘Animate 2 Educate Gold Star’ to the resource which has impressed me the most. This year the award goes to ‘Sky Up Academy’. It was great to chat Chloe Anderson McMurray from Sky at Bett Global in London last week and to find out about the ‘Sky Up Academy’. Sky Up Academy Studios is a FREE immersive learning experience that places young people centre stage as media creators while getting hands on with state-of-the-art production equipment. I have already arranged for my Birchwood pupils to take part in one of their sessions at Elstree Studios in London, but they also have a van (which was present at BETT and my Digital Leaders loved) which can visit your school for a mobile experience.
