With World Book Day almost upon us I thought I would share a couple of little FREE ideas as to how you can use a FREE app to help your favourite book characters visit your school and pop-up in your playground, classrooms etc.
Made using ‘Pic Collage’ (free app) and then utilising the ‘snipping tool’ to cut the character out and then add to a background of a photo taken in school.
As an extension you could then add a black and white filter to your created image (in camera roll) and then add some text (Playground Cam 1 - 6:30am etc) to make it look like the school CCTV has picked up on the character in your school grounds.
Really effective, yet very simple idea. Useful not just on World Book Day, but throughout the curriculum in a variety of different ways.
